Message from the Worshipful Master
Dear Brothers of Pitman Masonic Lodge,
As we approach the holy season of Easter, we are reminded of the profound lessons of renewal, hope, and everlasting life that this sacred time represents. Easter teaches us that from darkness comes light, from trial comes strength, and from sacrifice comes redemption. These truths, though rooted in our Christian faith, also reflect the universal moral teachings that guide us as Freemasons.
In the Craft, we are taught that every man should strive to improve himself in Masonry, building his spiritual temple with patience, faith, and perseverance. The message of Easter mirrors this labor. Just as the stone must be shaped by the working tools of the craft, so must we refine our own hearts and actions, casting off that which is rough and imperfect, and seeking that which is upright and true.
Easter also reminds us of the importance of brotherly love, relief, and truth. In a world often troubled by division and hardship, we as Masons are called to be examples of charity, kindness, and steadfast faith. Let this season inspire us to strengthen the bonds of our Lodge, to support one another, and to extend the hand of friendship to all who stand in need.
May the spirit of Easter bring peace to your homes, strength to your hearts, and light to your path. Let us go forward as brothers, renewed in purpose, firm in our obligations, and grateful for the many blessings we share.
